Un fraisier "the perfect strawbaby cake"

One of my favorite things in life is cook or bake for the people I love. Last month my boyfriend told me how much he loved strwaberry cakes... So I said to myself: why not make him one. I found a great recipe in Epicurious, went to the super market and had a great time baking.

El otro día le hice este pastel a Eric, la verdad me quedó super rico. Una de las cosas que más me gustan es cocinar. y mas para alguien que quiero. Baje esta receta deEpicurious porque no encontraba la mía, y la verdad es que el cardamomo le da un toque especial.
Les recomiendo totalmente esta receta!!!
 Hay que tener buen cuidado de como batimos los huevos! y les recomiendo que pongan suficiente "lemon zest" para que no huela a huevo... o como diría mi abuela a "choquilla"
You have to be careful on battering the eggs and add the enough amount of lemon zest to avoid the egg oddor. I had to do the lemon zest with a knife because at my boyfriend's kitchen there was no grater.


  Las fresas se desinfectan antes de cortarlas o quitarles la hoja. Despues podemos decorar al antojo!



Una vez listo... a comer!!!! Se debe conservar en el refrigerador.
Once its ready just enjoy! It's necesary to keep it in the fridge.



Y las rebanadas se ven bien bonitas!!!
I think it's a perfect cake for a B-day... It is better one night after it has been kept in the fridge but no longer than that. But you can always only make it for the one you love in no particular date.
